Project Complete is able to assist with Commercial Project Management in many capacities. In the case of the major development of the Wesley Specialist Centre in Auchenflower, Brisbane, we acted as the Owner’s Representative. We worked closely with the owners to help define their vision and using our extensive contact base, pull the ideal team together.

This involved researching and selecting the best commercial project management company to develop a specialist medical centre of this size. We also tendered for and selected the builders and architects. As owner’s representative we were also responsible for making sure they were kept informed at every stage of the development and communicated back to the team any questions they had. 

The project took 12 months to complete and on completion of the building Project Complete was also engaged to look after lease negotiations for tenants in the building.

Upon securing a tenant for the café space, Project Complete also project managed the design and fitout, ensuring its identity was aligned with the Café owner’s vision but also aligned with the centre’s style.

Located close to Brisbane’s Wesley Hospital, the specialist medical centre site had great potential but was also a difficult building site due to its proximity to a train station and the slope of the block. All parties involved were honoured to be awarded an HAI Building Project Award for best project on a difficult site.
